Tomorrow is Singapore’s National Day! And I have great news to share with everyone on this special day….

The AVA (Agr-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore) has passed a new law for all new dog owners from 1st Sept 2007. The good news is….drum roll pls…..
MANDATORY microchipping of ALL newly licensed dogs, Click to read more about it!

You know, this is a dream come true for me! I have toyed with this idea all along but I am in no position to influence the laws in Singapore. Today, someone working in AVA must have loved dogs to push for this new rule. I’m soooo happy!!

Thank you thank you thank you to that someone…..we will see less abandonment and loss of pets today with this new rule.
